WP(C) no.11807 of 2022 and I.A. no.6166 of 2022
Mr. Mishra, learned advocate appears on behalf of the Non Governmental Organization (NGO), known by abbreviation ‘SURABHI’. He submits, by letter dated 16th April, 2022 eight NGOs were invited to make presentation on programme for promotion of millets in tribal areas of Boudh district. Impugned is letter dated 28th April, 2022 of the Administration, by which opposite party no.5 stood selected in respect of Harabhanga block. Said opposite party was not even invited to make presentation and, therefore, not a candidate for selection. He seeks interference.
Mr. Panda, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, his client will file counter by 24th June, 2022. Mr. Mishra prays for interim order on application made.
State will file counter by 24th June, 2022. Petitioner may file rejoinder by 4th July, 2022. In the meantime no effect shall be given to impugned letter dated 28th April, 2022 till next date.
The I.A. is disposed of.
List the writ petition on 6th July, 2022.
