Judgment
Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The complaint is that the judgment dated 17.6.2010 in CWP No. 1473 of 2008 has not been complied with. The issue pertains to regularization of the adhoc Lecturers. The stand taken in the reply is that the decision taken by the Government for regularization of adhoc service is only to those who were in service prior to 7.7.1982 and that the petitioners were given regularization after 1982. It is seriously disputed by the petitioners. It is pointed out that no such condition was displayed in the Government decision dated 7.7.1982. It is also pointed out that even those candidates, who were appointed after7.7.1982, have been regularized. In case the petitioners point out even a single case of regularization of an appointee after 7.7.1982, the petitioners shall also be granted regularization by the respondent. The needful action shall be taken positively within a month from the date of petitioners pointing out such instance(s). Subject to the above and in view of the apology tendered by the learned Additional Advocate General for delay, the COPC is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
