Mehtab S. Gill, J.—The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the award dated January 13, 2000 passed by the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-1, Faridabad.

2.

The petitioner has averred that she was appointed as a worker on June 20, 1982 as Packer and was drawing salary of Rs. 1100/-permonth. She was working to the satisfaction of the respondent-Company till January 31, 1991, but on October 1, 1991, her services were terminated. She has further averred that some persons, namely, Mohammed Asraf and Rajinder Singh had been teasing and assaulting her. First Information Report was registered against them on April 12, 1991. The petitioner was served with a charge-sheet dated February 6, 1991 (Exhibit M-2) by levelling false and frivolous charges against her.

3.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the file.

4.

Two charges levelled against the petitioner were not established, but charge No. 3 dated January 30, 1991 was proved against her which was that she tore the show cause notice given to her and threw it on the face of Shri A.S. Bhogal, who was a partner of the firm and started abusing Mohammed Asraf and said she would get Mohammed Asraf beaten. Shri A.S. Bhogal himself came into the witness-box and deposed to that effect. This is a very serious charge and this amounts to gross indiscipline on the part of the petitioner. We do not find any infirmity in the award dated January 13, 2000 passed by the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-1, Faridabad.

In view of the above discussion, we find no merit in this writ petition and it is, thus, dismissed.
