Judgment
Heard Ld. Counsel of both sides.
[2] Ld. Counsel Ms. Pinki Chakraborty appears and accepts notice for Respondent No.1. Ld. Counsel, Mr. M. Dey appears and accepts notice for Respondent Nos.2 to 5.
[3] Ld. Counsel of the petitioner submits that the petitioner joined as contingent worker on 01.11.2001 in Power Department and thereafter he was regularized in service on 27.12.2010.
[4] According to the petitioner as per notification of the Finance Department, he ought to have been regularized in the year 2008 and therefore, the Writ Petition has been filed.
[5] During hearing, Ld. Counsel of the Petitioner submits that no prayer or representation was submitted by the Petitioner to the concerned department agitating such grievances for giving him regularization w.e.f the year 2008 and therefore, a scope may be given to him to submit the proper representation to the Respondent Nos. 2 to 5.
Considered the submissions.
[6] This Writ Petition is disposed of being not pressed by the petitioner, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned Respondents for seeking redresses as sought for in this Writ Petition and if any grievance persists thereafter, he may approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law. As this Court has not made any observation on the merit of the case, therefore all questions relating thereto including the question of any delay and laches shall remain open.
[7] Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
