Judgment
N. Kumar, J.—This petition is filed complaining of disobedience of the order dated 17.09.2007 passed in a Writ Appeal No. 1635/2006. where the appellants therein agreed to pay the arrears of salary and current salary to the respondent i.e., the complainant herein.
The grievance as per Annexure ''C'' dated 02.09.11 is contrary to the agreed terms. The salary of the complainant-respondent is reduced on the ground that from 2011-2012, they are treated as part-time lecturers. Therefore, the learned Counsel for the complainant submits that the same amounts to disobedience of the order passed in the said appeal by this Court.
What is stated in Annexure ''C'' is a subsequent event. The reasons are given for passing the order. If the complainant is aggrieved by the said order, it is open for her to challenge the same in a manner known to law and it does not amount to contempt.
Hence, the contempt petition is dismissed, reserving liberty to the complainant to challenge Annexure ''C'' in a manner known to law.
