Gita Mittal, J.—A status report filed by the SHO of police station Kalyan Puri has been placed by Mr. Vikas Pahwa, learned standing Counsel for the State. Smt. Rani, respondent No. 5 is present in court along with her husband Mr. Pardeep Kumar. The petitioner Smt. Nisha and her husband Shri Arjun Kumar are also present in court. The parties have been identified by SI Love Atrey, the investigating officer in the case.

As per the status report, the petitioner is aged about 19 years and has married with Mr. Arjun Kumar, son of Late Shri Hirday Ram on 27th June, 2009 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies in the Arya Samaj Mandir, Yamuna Bagar, Delhi. Copy of the marriage certificate has been placed on record. The petitioner is stated to be residing at E-80/30, Rajeev Camp, Krishana Market, Jhilmil, Delhi as noticed on the last date.

Shri Pradeep Kumar and Smt. Rani have stated that they have lodged a complaint to the police for the reason that their daughter had left their house without any information to them and it was on account of her concern, safety and well being that the complaint was lodged. She reiterates that she learnt about the married of the petitioner only upon receipt of notice in the present case and in view of the said marriage, she is not interested in prosecution of the case which she lodged with the police. A grievance is expressed by respondent No. 5 that no address, location of the petitioner or the matrimonial home of the petitioner has been disclosed.

The petitioner is present in court and states that she has married of her own volition.

In view of the status report received from the SHO of the police station Kalyan Puri and the facts noticed above, the apprehension expressed in the present petition does not survive.

The writ petition is, accordingly disposed of.

Shri Arjun Kumar and the petitioner shall ensure that they give complete and correct information of their current and permanent address and telephone to the respondent No. 5 and investigating officer.
