Order

In this Writ Petition, petitioner had assailed the action of respondents No.2 & 3 in not restoring the storage licence of the petitioner’s dealer outlet at Kalabagan, Jirania in the light of the judgment dt.13.07.2026 passed in WP(C) No.244/2026.

Petitioner had also sought to restrain the respondents from interfering with the operation of the petitioner’s petroleum retail outlet pending disposal of the Writ Petition.

Petitioner had further sought for quashing of an order dt.30.06.2026 passed by the third respondent.

The basis for the petitioner to seek these reliefs is the judgment dt.13.07.2026 passed in WP(C) No.244/2026.

After notice has been served on the respondents, Counter Affidavit has been filed by respondents No.2 & 3, and the petitioner has also filed an affidavit bringing to the Court’s notice that the Joint Chief Controller of Explosives, Assam [respondent No.2] had revoked the order dt.30.06.2026 passed by the third respondent.

Copy of the same has been enclosed to the affidavit filed by the petitioner as also the Counter Affidavit filed by respondents No.2 & 3.

In this view of the matter, this Writ Petition has become infructuous, and is closed as such. No costs.
