Judgment
Arindam Sinha, J
Mr. Dash, learned advocate appears on behalf of added opposite party (the supply company). He submits, affidavit has been filed by his client pursuant to direction made in paragraph-9 of order dated 31st January, 2023 and paragraph-3 in order dated 2nd March, 2023.
Mr. Mohapatra, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner. Mr. Sharma, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and Mr. Mishra, learned advocate for opposite party no.5.
Direction made in paragraph-6 of order dated 31st January, 2023 was for the supply company to inform Court regarding point of supply to consumer no.D15A8/2. By paragraph-3 in order dated 2nd March, 2023, the supply company was told that particulars of the point of supply against electric bill mentioned in paragraph-5 of impugned order dated 25th November, 2014 are to be stated with supporting documents. In that view of things, perused affidavit dated 18th March, 2023 filed by the supply company. It simply says that supply was made to consumer Sachidananda Sahoo at Diniary, District-Khurda.
It is distressing to note that persons behind the supply company had not been able to understand the directions made. Court attempts to make the direction clear. The supply company is to inform Court the location of the meter, from which electricity consumption charges are calculated against consumer no.D15A8/2. It is further made clear Court requires information on the exact location of point of supply, as measured by the meter, through which the supply is made. Particulars of the location, where the meter is situate for measuring electricity supply to aforesaid consumer, is to be informed to Court. Further affidavit will be accepted on adjourned date upon advance copy served.
