Judgment
Justice V.K. Ahuja, J.—The petitioner has filed the present petition praying for the following relief:
That the respondents may be ordered to appoint the petitioner on daily wage basis on compassionate ground with immediate effect.
Notice of the petition was issued to the respondents to file reply.
The facts of the case are that the husband of the petitioner, namely Kuldip Singh, was serving as a Forest Guard, who died in harness on 31st July, 2004. The petitioner being the wife of the said employee, applied for compassionate employment which was not provided to her. Hence, the present petition filed by the petitioner. During the course of arguments, this aspect has been brought to my notice that the Government has revised the policy of compassionate employment vide its letter No. Per (AP-B)F(4)-4/89-VI dated 4.9.2012. Therefore, respondent No. 1 is required to reconsider the case of the petitioner in view of the new policy referred to above. Copy of the petition shall be presented by the petitioner along with order passed by this Court before respondent No. 1 who shall consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically and pass order within a period of three months from the date the copy of the order is produced before him. The petition stands allowed and disposed of to this extent. accordingly, so also the pending application(s), if any.
