This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioners challenging the impugned award dated 09.08.2017 passed by respondent No. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the subject matter of writ petition is pending consideration before the authority constituted

under the Right to Fair Compensation & Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013 (for brevity 'Act of 2013'), therefore this writ petition may not be

entertained.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and gone through the records with utmost circumspection.

On careful perusal, the fact remains that petitioners' reference applications are pending consideration before the competent authority for

enhancement of compensation amount, therefore this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, the appropriate authority shall

consider and dispose of the petitioners' applications without further loss of time. If the application for urgent hearing is moved by the petitioners, the

same shall be considered by the respondent authorities and the matter be disposed of expeditiously.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No cost(s).

Certified copy of the impugned order be returned to the counsel for the petitioners on furnishing attested photocopy thereof.
