Judgment
Kuldip Singh, J.—The petitioner has prayed mainly the following relief in the petition:
That the respondent Corporation may be directed to pay to the applicant the revised pay scale of 6400-10640/-against the post of Technical Assistant w.e.f. 1.1.1996 with all consequential benefits along with arrears of the pay.
The respondents in the reply have taken the stand that petition is pre-mature. The matter is still pending with the government. The Corporation cannot release any higher pay scale unless the same is recommended by the Service Committee. The case of petitioner was referred to the Service Committee. The recommendations of the Service Committee in the present case are to be placed before the Board of Directors for consideration and decision.
In view of the stand taken by the respondents in the reply, the respondents/ competent authority is directed to decide the matter within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this Judgment by the petitioner and in case the decision has already been taken by the competent authority and the same is in favour of the petitioner, then the same be implemented within a period of another two months. Further, in case the decision has already been taken and the same is against the petitioner, then the decision be communicated to the petitioner immediately.
With the above observations, the petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
