P. Sathasivam, J.—The petitioner by name S.K.Sekar has filed this petition for production of his son by name Balaji aged about 21 years,

who has been detained illegally by the fourth respondent before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.

Pursuant to the direction of this Court, the detenu by name Balaji appeared before us. We enquired him. According to him, he is 21 years old

and his date of birth being 30.11.1984, he is a major. He further informed that on 10.3.2006 he married one S.Sudha, daughter of the fourth

respondent at Madras. He has also informed us that after the marriage, the same was duly registered by the authority concerned. He has also

produced the marriage certificate issued by the Joint Sub Registrar, Chennai Central. The marriage certificate shows that the detenu as well as his

wife, the daughter of the fourth respondent are major. He has also informed this Court that at present, he is living with his wife. The above

information shows that the detenu is not in illegal custody of any one, including the fourth respondent.

3.

In the light of the information and of the fact that the detenu has married one Sudha and both of them being major, we are of the view that no

further adjudication is required in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
