Petitioner seeks a direction to the respondentts to refund the amount of Rs 15,86,956/- alongwith the interest thereon to the Petitioner.
Petitioner filed a return for the fourth quarteer of 2016-2017 claiming a refunnd of Rs 15,86,956/-. A refund order dated 02.03.2022 was issued in faavour of the petitioner for the said amount. However, till date the amo unt has not been refunded to the accouunt of Petitioner.
It is noted that refund order was issued in thee name of Sight Sound Electronics whereas the complete name of Peetitioner is Sight Sound Electroniics (I) Pvt Ltd.
Learned counsel for respondents under instructiions submits that the amount is under process and shall be duly refunded to the Petitioner withi n a period of two weeks from today. The statement is taken on record.
In view of above, the petition is disposed of directing the respondents to refund the amount of Rs 15,86,956/- allongwith interest to Petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from today.
