The review petition has been filed seeking review of the directions issued in the judgment dated 12.04.2023. This Court had permitted the petitioners to wipe off the amounts outstanding in 15 equal monthly instalments starting from 12.05.2023. The period was over in July 2024. It is submitted that the petitioners have paid a sum of about ₹23,00,000/- after the directions were issued by this Court and the counsel for the respondents submits that a sum of ₹27,45,210/- is still outstanding. Though there is no scope for review of the judgment which had been ordered on consensus, taking into account the facts of the case, the petitioners are granted a further period of six months to wipe off the balance amount due with accrued interest in equal instalments. The 1st instalment shall be paid on or before 04.11.2024 and the subsequent instalments shall be paid on or before 4th of the succeeding months. If the petitioners make any default in the payment of instalments as directed above, the respondents are at liberty to take coercive steps for recovery.
