Judgment
This writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents 1 to 4 to take urgent and necessary steps for revaluation/fresh valuation of the
answer sheets of the petitioner in respect of physiology paper I and II. It is submitted that going by Ext.P8 regulations, fresh evaluation will be
conducted only on the recommendation of the Board of Adjudication of Students Grievances. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P9 representation
before the Board of Adjudication of Students Grievances and seeks a consideration of the same.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent University, I am of the
opinion that Ext.P9 request preferred by the petitioner before the Board of Adjudication of Students Grievances is liable to be considered and
disposed of, in accordance with law.
In the above view of the matter, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to take up, consider and pass orders on Ext.P9 request made by
the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In case the Board issues favourable
recommendations, the same shall be considered without delay by the governing Council and revaluation shall also be conducted without delay.
The writ petition is ordered accordingly.
