Judgment

The petitioner is challenging Ext.P2 order of externment dated 8.04.2024. As per Ext.P2, the petitioner is restrained from entering into the Kannur Revenue District for a period of six months. The petitioner is involved in three crimes.
The petitioner is aged 33 years and he is the sole breadwinner of his family consisting of his wife, children and parents. It is also stated that out of three cases, two cases are minor offences. The petitioner had already suffered the order of externment for a period of two months.
Considering the fact that he is the sole breadwinner of the family and since he had already suffered externment for a period of two months, we confine the operation of Ext.P2 externment order till today (10.06.2024). The petitioner shall thereafter appear before the Station House Officer, Panoor Police Station every Sunday at 11 am for a period of three months. If there is any violation in the condition as above, the respondent shall be at liberty to proceed against the petitioner in accordance with law.
This Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
