Judgment
The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The
petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.
The petitioner says that a complaint has been lodged upon an amorous relationship going sour.
The State says that the petitioner lured the major victim into sex on his promise to marry her.
Considering the nature of the charge and the other circumstances, it may not be necessary to take the petitioner into custody as long he cooperates in
the investigation and reports to the investigating officer as and when called till the investigation is complete.
Subject to above, in the event of arrest, the petitioner will be granted bail on furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) together with
personal release bond of equivalent value to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.
The petitioner will also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.
CRM 4156 of 2020 and CRAN 2359 of 2020 are disposed of.
