Mr. S. Chanda, learned Legal Aid Counsel has submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court to confirm the status of the petitioner/appellant herein, on enquiry it is learnt that the petitioner/appellant has since expired. To this extent copy of the death certificate of the said petitioner/appellant is produced before this Court. The said certificate recorded the date of death of the petitioner/appellant as 30.07.2026. The said certificate is brought on record and marked as Annexture - X.

In view of this fact, as agreed to by the parties herein this petition as well as the appeal is abated and stands disposed of accordingly.
