Para-6 of the reply filed by the respondents reads thus:
That however, Govt. of India have formulated a new policy guidelines for considering the appointment of candidates with criminal back grounds in CAPF vide MHA UO No. 45020/2010-PERS.II Dated 1.2.2012. According to the said guidelines CISR HQrs New Delhi have constituted a committee to examine all such cases for considering appointments of candidates with criminal backgrounds. Accordingly, the case of the petitioner has been sent to the said committee at TS HQrs NISA Hyderabad vide RTC Bhillai Letter No. E-37013/RTC (BH)/TRG/MISC/RTU/12-418 Dated 7.3.2012 and Letter of even No. (970) Dated 26.6.2012 ANNEXURE R-1 for further examination in the light of Govt. of India policy guidelines under reference, which is awaited.
The committee is directed to take a final decision within a period of three months from today and convey the same to the petitioner.
With these observations, the present writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any. No costs.
