Gita Mittal, J.—By this writ petition, the petitioner prays for an order directing the respondents to deseal his premises No. 90 in Khasra No. 339, Village Dindarpur, Najafgarh, New Delhi.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no intention of violating any statutory provisions and is willing to submit any undertaking which may be required by the respondents to the effect that he shall not carry out any business or activities which would violate any legal requirement.

The respondents have stated that it was in view of the directions issued by the Supreme Court to close factories running in non-confirming areas, the petitioner''s factory was sealed. By a letter dated 3rd February, 2006 issued by the Commissioner of Industries to the concerned Deputy Commissioners, they were required to ensure compliance and monitoring of the units. The submission in the counter affidavit is that the petitioner cannot be permitted to carry on such non-confirming activities in the residential area.

In this view of the matter, the petitioner is permitted to approach the Monitoring Committee appointed by the Apex Court or the concerned authorities and place such undertaking and documents before the authorities concerned who may consider the same in terms of the directions made by the Apex Court and the applicable law. The representation, as and when made, shall be considered and disposed of within a period of six weeks of its receipt.

This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Copy of this order shall be given dasti to counsel for the parties.
