Judgment
Though this appeal is listed for admission, with the consent of learned Counsel for the appellant, it is taken up for final disposal.
Appellant is claimant in MVC No.86/2012 on the file of Senior Civil Judge and MACT-IX, Harapanahalli (''the Tribunal'' for short), whereunder, the Tribunal by it''s Judgment and Award dated September 15, 2015, has awarded a global compensation of Rs.6,000/-.
The claim of the appellant before the Tribunal is that he sustained injuries in a road traffic accident whilst he was traveling in a taxi.
In support of his claim, claimant produced Ex.P8, which shows that he has suffered some minor injuries. Except his self-serving statement as PW.3 and the Wound Certificate, no material was placed before the Tribunal nor any doctor examined. In the circumstances, the Tribunal on appreciation of the evidence has awarded a global compensation of Rs.6,000/-.
In my view, there is no error in the judgment of the Tribunal. Hence, no interference is called for.
Hence, the appeal fails and is accordingly dismissed.
No costs.
