Judgment
P. R. Ramachandra Menon, CJ
The prayers are in the following terms:
"10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities / State Government to issue direction to comply with the circular dated 07.03.2012.
10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to give information with regard to the appointment of Class- IV employees on the vacate post till date after passing circular dated 07.03.2012.
10.3 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records pertaining to the above stated case for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court. 10.4 Any other relief, which may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice."
When the matter is take up for consideration, we required to learned counsel for the Petitioner to substantiate the 'Public Interest' involved with regard to the Circular dated 07.03.2012 issued in the year 2012 in respect of the filling of the certain posts. The Petitioner is a sexagenarian having crossed the age of 60 years and is not personally affected in any manner.
The learned counsel for the Petitioner sought for permission to withdraw the matter without prejudice to rights and liberties to pursue other appropriate remedy, if any, in accordance with law.
Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, as above.
