C. Hari Shankar, J.

1.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the order dated 20 May 2025, whereby his representation was rejected, does not take into account DOPT OM dated 17 November 2014 and 6 June 2014, annexed as Annexure P-2 to WP C 5722/2025.

2.

We have seen the order dated 20 May 2025 and find this to be a position.

3.

Mr. Gaurav Mishra, SPC, on instruction of Mr. Ajay Pal, Law Officer, CRPF, undertakes that the petitioner’s representation would be reconsidered after taking into account the aforesaid OMs. Accordingly, he seeks two weeks’ time to do so.

4.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by quashing and setting aside the order dated 20 May 2025 and remanding the matter to the respondents for strict compliance to the order dated 1 May 2025 or reconsideration of the petitioner’s representation in strict compliance to the order dated 1 May 2025. The decision as and when taken shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

5.

The operation of the decision would remain suspended for a period of one week thereafter in order to enable the petitioner to seek his remedies thereagainst.
