Judgment

This is an application for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 B.N.S.S. by the sole accused in Crime No. 241 of 2005 of Kattoor police station, Trissur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 420 and 34 of IPC.
At the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been settled and the entire amount has already been paid.
The learned Public Prosecutor, after verification, submitted that the matter has been settled, and the entire amount involved in the case has already been remitted to the bank.
On a perusal of the above arguments advanced by both sides, I am of the considered view that this is a fit case in which the petitioner is entitled to get the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.
In the result, this application is allowed subject to the following conditions:-
(i) Petitioner shall be released on bail on executing bond for Rs.50,000/- (fifty thousand only) with two solvent sureties for the like sum, in case he is arrested in connection with the above crime.
(ii) Petitioner shall report before the Investigating Officer on every Monday between 10.00 and 11.00 am till the final report is filed or till the end of June, 2025, whichever is earlier.
(iii) The petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation, and he shall not intimidate or influence the witnesses and tamper with the evidence.
