Status report stands filed wherein it is informed that on 8.7.2020 both the parties i.e. complainant and petitioners, had attended the meeting held by the police, wherein both the sides had agreed to resolve the dispute with mutual conversation and to inform the police after 2-3 days, but after 2-3 days nothing was informed to the police and complainant Gian Chand, who is father of Simran Kaur and Manjeet Kaur, was contacted by the police on 13.7.2020, who in turn had informed that till then accused persons had not contacted him and therefore, had requested for further action on his complaint.

It is further reported that after considering the contents of the application, it was found that matter pertains to the Protection of Women from Domestic Violance Act, 2005, whereupon, on 16.7.2020, application along with copy of report entered in the General Diary of Police Station was referred for further action to the Child Development Officer, Solan and there is no FIR lodged under Section 498A IPC against accused Sheela Devi, Sant Lal and Rakesh Kumar.

In view of aforesaid status report, present petitions are not maintainable and dismissed accordingly.
