Present C482 application has been filed by the applicant along with compounding application (IA/1/2024) for quashing the cognizance/summoning order dated 10.04.2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Dehradun in Criminal Case No.1888 of 2018 State Vs. Shanu Paswan, for the offences punishable under Section 465 IPC and under Section 67 of the I.T. Act, Case Crime No.184 of 2017 registered with Police Station Nehru Colony, District Dehradun and the entire proceedings of aforementioned criminal case, on the basis of a compromise entered into between the parties.

This Court vide order dated 28.02.2025 directed the parties to the proceedings to appear before the District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun on 10.03.2025 at 11:30 AM, who, in turn, was directed to record the statements of parties and verify the contents of the affidavits filed along with the compounding application.

The compliance report of I/C Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun dated 11.03.2025 is available on record.

From perusal of the compliance report, it is evidently clear that both the parties have entered into compromise and there is no dispute pending between them as they have settled their disputes amicably. Parties were also duly identified before the said authority.

In this view of the matter, Compounding Application (IA/1/2024) is allowed. As a result, entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1888 of 2018 State Vs. Shanu Paswan, for the offences punishable under Section 465 IPC and under Section 67 of the I.T. Act, are hereby quashed. Consequently, the Case Crime No.184 of 2017 registered with Police Station Nehru Colony, District Dehradun, stands quashed.

C482 application stands disposed of accordingly.
