Judgment

Petitioner is the owner of two stage carriages. She applied for issuance of regular permits. Route enquiry reports are stated to have been obtained
on the applications as Exts.P7 and P8 as early as on 08.02.2021. Since there was delay in considering the applications, the petitioner had approached
this Court in W.P.(C) Nos.5348/2021 and 5410/2021. This Court as per Exts.P9 and P10 judgments directed consideration of the applications within
six weeks. However, even as of now the applications are yet to be ordered is the grievance of the petitioner.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned senior Government Pleader.
Noticeably, there was some delay on the part of the petitioner in bringing to the notice of the authorities the factum of Exts.P9 and P10 judgments.
Anyhow in the light of the directions of this Court as contained therein, the authorities are bound to consider and pass orders on the applications
without delay.
Accordingly it is ordered that, the first respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders on the applications submitted by the petitioner for
regular permit, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy
of this judgment. If circumstances warrant, it shall be open to have the consideration done in virtual mode.
Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
