The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying therein for following substantive reliefs:­

“(i) That the respondents may kindly be directed to transfer the petitioner from present place of posting i.e. Government Senior Secondary School Narain, District Shimla, H.P. to one of the station mentioned above.

(ii) That any writ/order or direction may kindly be issued and the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner”

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is serving as Trained Graduate Teacher (Non­Medical) at Government Senior Secondary School Narain, District Shimla, H.P. since 15.11.2019, but he has not been transferred from the present place of posting even after the representation made by him before the appropriate authority. Petitioner has completed his normal tenure at the present place of posting and has given five stations of his choice where the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (Non­Medical) is vacant or there is a longer stayee since long time.

Notice. Mr. Pushpender Singh Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider his representation in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P­2) in a time bound manner preferably within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law, from the receipt of the copy of this order.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
