This Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed for the following relief:

“to quash Annexure-A and Annexure-C reports in Crime No.263 of 2011 of Kazhakuttam Police Station and all further proceedings pursuant thereto pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate-II, Attingal.”

The petitioner applied for a passport, and he further sought for NIOC, which was rejected by Annexure-E notice. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the pendency of Annexure-C UN report in Crime No.263/2011 of Kazhakuttam Police Station has caused grave prejudice to the petitioner. The petitioner urgently requires NIOC for the purpose of obtaining the passport. He submits that similar issue has been considered by this Court in Crl.M.C No.8664/2023.

In view of the abovesaid order, the this Criminal Miscellaneous Case is disposed of, stating that the UN report submitted in this case shall not be a barrier for issuing Police Clearance Certificate or obtaining or renewal of Passport.
