Judgment
Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The Writ Petition is filed mainly with the following prayers:-
(i) That a writ of mandamus may kindly be issued thereby directing the respondents to give the revise pay scale of Rs. 950-1800 with initial start of Rs. 1000/- with effect from 1.1.1986 which flow from the Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2 judgments passed in CWP 151 of 2004 dated 17.11.2008 and thereafter CWP 4911/2009 decided on 8.11.2011 in the form of arrears.
(ii) That the respondents may be directed to give the same treatment by giving benefits of revised pay scale of Rs. 950-1800 with initial start of Rs. 1000/- w.e.f. 1.1.1986 as has been given to other similar situated staff of HRTC and difference in wages may kindly be calculated and further disbursed to the petitioners forthwith in the form of arrears.
The issue in principle is covered by Annexure P-2 the judgment in Gian Singh and others Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and another, CWP No. 4911 of 2009, decided on 11.8.2011. We are informed that the judgment has been implemented also and it has attained finality. In case the petitioners are similarly situated, a similar treatment shall be given to the petitioners herein also. Needful shall be done within a period of two months from the date of production of copy of this judgment by the petitioners before the 1st respondent-HRTC.
The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
