G.R.Swaminathan, J
“The Inspector of Police, Kayathar Police Station, Thoothukudi District.” is suo motu impleaded as the tenth respondent.
2.Mr.A.Albert James, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the impleaded respondent.
3.Registry is directed to make necessary changes in the cause title.
4.The petitioner wants this Court to restrain the 6th respondent from drawing their electric lines over the petition mentioned lands. The petition mentioned lands stand in the name of the writ petitioner.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent submits that a sum of Rs.17 Lakhs was paid by cheque in favour of the 9th respondent and it has also been encashed.
6.The petitioner would claim that the ninth respondent is not living with her and their matrimonial relationship is under strain.
7.I am not in a position to enter into the merits of the matter at present. What the petitioner says is true. The 9th respondent is clearly guilt of rank cheating.
8.The learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent submitted that complaint may be lodged today itself. On receipt thereof, an FIR shall be straightaway registered by the 10th respondent. The 9th respondent will be produced before this Court on 22.04.2024 at 10.30 a.m.
