G.Ilangovan, J
The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 352 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.12 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners are arrayed as A2 to A4 and the 1st and 3rd petitioners are in-laws of the defacto complainant and the 2nd petitioner is relative of the 1st petitioner. A1 is husband of the defacto complainant. The accused persons have demanded more dowry from the defacto complainant and also assaulted her and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.
3.These petitioners were already granted interim anticipatory bail for a period of eight weeks by this Court by the order dated 18.05.2023. Thereafter, the matter is listed today for further hearing. Today, it appears that the first accused, who is the husband of the defacto complainant is granted anticipatory bail by this Court, by the order dated 08.06.2023 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.9951 of 2023.
4.In view of the above said, the interim anticipatory bail already granted to these petitioners by this Court on 18.05.2023, is hereby made absolute.
