The applicant has filed this Original Application claiming benefit of the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 17th March, 2020 (Union of
India and Ors. Vs. Lt Cdr Annie Nagaraja and Ors. - Civil Appeal Nos.2182-87/2020) in the matter of grant of permanent commission or in the
alternate pensionary benefits.
Today Mr. Santosh Krishnan, learned counsel for the applicant, fairly states that the applicant's case was considered by the Competent Authority and
she has been granted pensionary benefits.
In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed in these proceedings. The claim of the applicant for releasing pensionary and
other benefits be now undertaken by the respondents. However, in case the applicant has any grievance still subsisting with regard to the manner in
which her claim has been settled, liberty shall be available to her to agitate the same in accordance with law. That apart, in case the applicant has any
grievance with regard to non selection and grant of permanent commission and only granting her pensionary benefits, she may agitate the same in
accordance with law.
OA stands disposed of.
