Judgment
Pankaj Jain, J
Reply by way of affidavit of Narender Singh, HPS, DSP, Head Quarter, Panipat has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 today in Court. The same is taken on record.
Relevant paras thereof read as under :
That HC Suman, Head Constable, Police Station Sector 29, Panipat was deputed to enquire about the threat perception over the life and liberty of the petitioners. However, the petitioners stated that they do not want to take any legal action against the private respondents no. 4 to 7.
(True Copy of Statements dated 01.12.2023 of the petitioner no. 1 and Petitioner No. 2 are annexed herewith as Annexure R-1 and Annexure R-2).
That thereafter, private respondents no. 4 to 7 were joined in the enquiry and they also got recorded their statements in the same terms that the petitioners can live with each other in their family and that they will not cause any harm to them. (True Copy of Joint Statement dated 01.12.2023 of Respondent No. 4 & 7, Statement of Respondent No. 5 dated 01.12.2023 and Statement of Respondent No. 6 dated 01.12.2023 are annexed herewith as Annexure R-3, Annexure R-4 and Annexure R-5 respectively).”
Counsel for the petitioners is not in position to controvert the aforesaid statement made by petitioners No.1 and 2 as well as by the private respondents.
In the light thereof, the present petition is disposed off.
