Judgment
T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The petitioners are working under the 2nd respondent- University in the category of Typists. It is pointed out that all of them have been appointed regularly in service. They are entitled for promotion to Higher Grades like Typist Grade-I, Senior Grade, Selection Grade, Office Superintendent, Section Officer (FC&D), Section Officer (FC&D) Higher Grade, Pool Officer, etc. The dispute herein is with regard to the pay revision order Exhibits P2 and P3 issued by the Government. Therein certain anomalies have been pointed out by the petitioners and aggrieved by the same, the petitioners have filed Exhibits P6 to P11 representations.
The Writ Petition is filed by the petitioners seeking for appropriate directions to the Government to remove the anomalies and to make the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission consistent with Exhibit P4.
By an interim order dated 25.1.2012, this Court directed respondents 2 and 3 to forward the representations of the petitioners addressed to the Government for rectifying anomalies as evident from Exhibits P8 to P10 within a period of one month. In the meanwhile this Court directed that the petitioners will not be reverted from the respective posts they are holding. The learned Standing Counsel for the University submitted that the representations have been forwarded by the University to the Government on 22.2.2012 and a communication regarding the same also has been placed for perusal.
In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exhibits P6 to P11 after hearing a representative of the petitioners within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The interim order dated 25.1.2012 directing not to revert the petitioners will continue in the meanwhile.
