Judgment
The petitioner is a Society registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, carrying on recreational activities in the nature of skill development in Snooker Game. The present petition is filed for a direction to the respondent-Police not to interfere with the running of the Academy either under the Karnataka Police Act or under Licensing and Controlling of Places of Public Amusement.
Learned AGA submits that there has been no interference by the respondent-Police. However, in the event of an issue involving Law and Order situation arising, the respondent-authorities would invariably have to take action in the matter. Except otherwise, there has been no interference by the respondent-authorities in the business being conducted by the petitioner.
The submission is placed on record.
The Respondent-Authority shall not interfere with the running of the Snooker Academy by the petitioner. However, if there are any issues involving Law and Order situation, the respondents are at liberty to take action strictly in accordance with law.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
