The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 30.01.2026 made by the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order.
The facts of the case, shorn of unnecessary details, are that the petitioner claims himself to be the patta holder of the land which is the subject matter of the present writ petition. He submits that the Patwari of Tehsil Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar, is coming onto the said land and threatening the petitioner to vacate the land, along with two persons, namely, Pawan and Sanjay, of the same village. Thus, the petitioner apprehends that he may be illegally evicted from the said land.
Learned State Counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to the fact that the Patta which was allotted to the petitioner was cancelled in the year 2001 itself, and he is holding possession of the said land illegally.
Thus, this Court cannot come to the rescue of the petitioner while exercising the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court. Hence, no interference is required and the writ petition is dismissed in-limine.
Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
