Judgment
This petition has been filed by the petitioner, inter-alia, alleging that corpus ‘N’, daughter of respondent No.4, be produced before this Court with the allegations that she is being married against her wishes.
When it was put to the counsel as to what is the locus-standi of the petitioner to file this petition, submissions were made that he is a neighbour and when it was asked from where he has procured the documents filed as Annex.2 to the petition, no response was given. However, the material available on record (Annex.3) indicates that the allegations are against the petitioner of having abducted the said corpus in past. Whereafter, some compromise appears to have taken place between the parties and that again now the present petition has been filed seeking production of the corpus before this Court.
The submissions made are that the corpus is a minor and the petitioner is aged 27 years, and the first response was that being neighbour he was seeking to get the corpus produced before this Court, apparently the petition filed is not bonafide, which has been filed without disclosing true facts before the Court, only with a view to somehow get the minor produced before this Court for the reasons best known to the petitioner.
We are convinced that the petitioner has no locus-standi, the petition is, therefore, dismissed.
