This is landlord’s petition against the judgment and order dated 24.04.2012 passed by Additional District Judge 1st/F.T.C., Haridwar in Rent
Control Appeal No. 24 of 2011.
Perusal of the record indicates that the release application, filed by the landlord under Section 21 (1)(a) of the U.P. Urban Buildings (Regulation of
Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, was allowed by the Prescribed Authority, however, the judgment rendered by Prescribed Authority was
reversed in appeal, filed by the tenant.
Mr. P.S. Bisht, learned counsel for the petitioner has made a statement that pursuant to the understanding arrived at between the parties,
respondent no. 1 has handed-over the possession of the shop in question to the petitioner.
Mr. I.P. Kohli, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1 does not dispute the submission made on behalf of the petitioner.
Since the parties have resolved the dispute amongst themselves, therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition.
Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
