Judgment

Heard Ms. P. Chettri learned counsel for the petitioner, also heard Mr. H. Kharmih learned Addl. PP for the State respondent.
The matter has come up before this Court today for appearance of the complainant. However, though the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the notice has been affected upon the said complainant, the office records shows that there is no indication to this effect. Be that as it may, the petitioner is directed to file an affidavit of service in this regard. On the condition of the accused, son of the petitioner who is undergoing treatment at NEIGRIHMS, the learned counsel has submitted that his condition is serious and he is required to be given special treatment especially in the main areas where it is apparent that he has not yet got any relief.
Without going into the merits of the matter, it is the considered opinion of this Court that the patient is required to be given the best treatment at any hospital or medical institution more so, at a specialized institution like NEIGHRIMS.
In this regard, the Medical Superintendent, NEIGRIHMS is hereby directed to ensure that the best treatment is given to the patient concerned and to file a detailed report of the health status of the patient before this Court on the next date fixed.
List this matter on 11.10.2022 for further hearing.
