Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J
On the oral prayer made by Mr. Rajveer Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, he is permitted to implead "Secretary (Home), Government of Uttarakhand", as respondent no. 4. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day.
Petitioner has a grievance against a book alleged to be authored by respondent no. 3. According to the petitioner, the said book has the affect of disturbing the communal harmony in the State.
Mr. Rajveer Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confines his prayer and submits that petitioner may be permitted to make representation to Secretary (Home), Government of Uttarakhand and he may be directed to take decision on such representation.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make representation to Secretary (Home), Government of Uttarakhand within one week from today. If such representation is made within stipulated time, Secretary (Home), Government of Uttarakhand shall consider the same and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation along with certified copy of this order.
