Instant writ petition has been filed for re-connection of electricity supply of the petitioner.
The case of the petitioner in brief, is that petitioner is consumer of electricity connection being Consumer ID- DR6662 and Account ID 11223991518 in the name of his mother Late Mrs. Shanti Devi. The petitioner had paid total outstanding amount along with charges for reconnection. The money receipts have been enclosed as Annexure 1, 2 and 2/1.
The main grievance of the petitioner is that despite having no outstanding amount and after making full payment, the connection has not been restored.
Learned counsel on behalf of respondents, as per instruction, submits that connection will be restored in a day or two. There were some outsiders, who were not permitting the authority of the Electricity Department to restore the connection.
From the submissions advanced on behalf of both sides, it is apparent that there was no outstanding amount against electric bill, consequently, fees for restoration was also deposited, despite this the electric connection has been restored.
The third party cannot interfere in the restoration of connection. Under the circumstance, connection be restored within two days forthwith for which District Administration will co-operate with respondent no.3.
Writ Petition stands disposed of. Interlocutory Application, if any, is disposed of..
