Judgment
Alok Kumar Verma, J
A Letter (Letter No.FFUC-42 of 25) dated 06.06.2025 has been issued by In-charge Financial Fraud Unit, Police Office, District Pithoragarh. There is an allegation against the applicant that he had taken Rs.2,50,000(Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) to get the complainant’s brother-in-law a job.
Heard Mr. M.K. Ray, learned counsel for applicant and Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, learned A.G.A. for State.
Mr. M.K. Ray, Advocate, submitted that the applicant has an apprehension that he may be arrested by the Financial Fraud Unit in the said false case. Therefore, the applicant-Santosh Gaurav has filed the present anticipatory bail application.
Mr. M.K. Ray, Advocate, further submitted, on instruction from the applicant that the applicant undertakes to appear before the In-charge Financial Fraud Unit, Police Office, District Pithoragarh to record his statement.
Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, Advocate, submitted on instruction that the Financial Fraud Unit, Police Office, District Pithoragarh will not arrest the applicant-Santosh Gaurav in pursuance to the said notice dated 06.06.2025.
After the said submission, on the request of Mr. M.K. Ray, Advocate and with the consent of Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, A.G.A., the present Anticipatory Bail Application (No.643 of 2025) is disposed of accordingly.
