There is an office objection regarding maintainability of this writ petition. An application has been filed by petitioner stating that in view of the urgent relief required, this petition be entertained.
In this petition, mandamus is sought to respondents-Directorate of Education and Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board to entertain petitioner's online application for the Post Code 114/2017 in relation to Advertisement No.4/2017 of 20th December, 2017.
It is pointed out by learned counsel for respondent-GNCTD that matters relating to recruitment by the Schools falling under the jurisdiction of Directorate of Education have to be considered, in the first instance, by the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that tomorrow i.e. 31st January, 2018, is the last date for applying for the post in question.
In view of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 and the fact that Union Territory of Delhi is figuring at Sl. No.60 of the Schedule regarding Jurisdiction of CAT, as available on the official website of CAT, and also in view of urgency involved in this case, Registry is directed to send this matter forthwith to the Registrar, Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi through special messenger, so that petitioner is able to obtain appropriate orders from the concerned Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi in the post-lunch session today.
Copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of the Court Master to learned counsel for petitioner.
