These review petitions seek waiver of the costs of ₹ 50,000/-imposed by this Court while dismissing these transfer petitions.
The order under review speaks for itself and clearly states why the costs have been imposed. In the opinion of this Court, the costs are only nominal, especially given the fact that this is a commercial litigation.
Moreover, the petitioner challenged the order under review before the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court, too, dismissed the SLP, specifically observing that it did not find any cause to interfere with the order passed by this Court. The order included the direction for payment of costs.
In these circumstances, keeping in mind the facts, I am not inclined to vary the order passed by this Court or modify the costs imposed on the petitioner.
The time for payment of costs is, however, extended by a period of eight weeks from today.
The Review Petitions and applications stand dismissed.
