R.P. Nagrath, J.—The instant petition has been filed u/s 482 Cr.P.C. to invoke the inherent power of this Court for quashing of FIR No. 123 dated 16.04.2011 for offences under Sections 420, 403, 406 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh alongwith order of framing charges dated 02.11.2012 against the petitioner and the order dated 14.02.2013 passed by the Revisional Court.

2.

The trial Court framed charges on 02.11.2012 and the petitioner challenged that order in revision which was dismissed by the Revisional Court on 14.02.2013.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently contended that the petitioner was Relationship Manager of HDFC Bank and the only allegation against him is that the petitioner orally confirmed the delivery order in the name of Surinder Pal issued by the M/s. Royale Associates but the loan was ultimately declined because on verification of address of Surinder Pal aforesaid the same was found to be fake. It is further submitted that the loan was sanctioned but it was not disbursed on account of physical verification.

4.

On the other hand learned Addl. P.P. for U.T. Chandigarh and counsel for the complainant-respondent No. 2 submit that M/s. Royale Associates who issued the delivery order are marketing agents of the Bank and the agency acts on the confirmation made by the Bank as per prevalent practice.

5.

These are the disputed questions which are to be determined on merits of the case during the trial as the scope of interference u/s 482 Cr.P.C. is very limited.

6.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed.
