Heard on I.A. No.01 of 2021 which is an application filed by the Petitioner seeking to withdraw the instant Criminal Revision Petition on grounds that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before the High Court Lok Adalat and nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon.
It appears from the Award dated 13.11.2020 of the High Court Lok Adalat of Sikkim that the Second Party (Respondent herein) had paid a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand) only, to the First Party (Petitioner herein) on 06.10.2020, thereafter he was required to pay two more instalments which have now been satisfied. The Award further recorded that as soon as the remaining balance amount to be paid by the Second Party to the First Party is paid, the First Party shall immediately take appropriate steps to withdraw the instant Revision Petition pending before this Court. In consonance thereof, the instant I.A. has been filed.

The petition is allowed.
This Criminal Revision Petition accordingly stands disposed of as withdrawn, as also the I.A.
