Judgment
K. Rajasekar, J
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband/ A1 had already deposited a part of the amount and he is ready to appear before the Investigation Officer and submit the details of other payments made to the victims in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner herein/ A2 is having a special child, hence prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner and A1 are not co-operating for the investigation and nearly Rs.4.35 Crores were cheated in this case by the petitioner and A1; and that if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, it would hamper the investigation process.
Considering the submissions made on both sides and the fact that already a part of the amount has been deposited by A1 in this case, I direct the Investigation Officer to file a detailed counter in this matter.
List the matter on 14.11.2025, till then the respondent is directed not to arrest the petitioner and if possible, the petitioner shall ensure the appearance of her husband/ A1 before the Investigation Officer for the purpose of investigation.
