The petitioner has approached this Court impugning Ext.P6 to the extent to which the 4th respondent has been selected to the post of Assistant

Professor in Clinical Psychology.

However, when this matter was called today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 4th respondent is now no more and the

vacancy is now open. He, therefore, prayed that the respondents be directed to fill up the vacancy as per law within a time frame to be fixed by this

Court.

The learned Central Government Counsel Sri.Girish Kumar, appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3, submitted that since the 4th respondent is

now no more and the vacancy is available, necessary steps for filling up the same in terms of law will be taken without any further delay.

In the afore circumstances, I close this Writ Petition leaving open all the contentions of the petitioner to be pursued in future, as he may be advised;

with a resultant direction to the respondents to fill-up the vacancy caused on account of the death of the 4th respondent as expeditiously as is possible.
