Judgment

Prayer in this petition is for transfer of the proceedings under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, pending before the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Patiala to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Sangrur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has relied upon order dated 12.05.2023, passed by this Court in TA-1356 & 1358-2022, vide which, while allowing the said transfer petitions, the similar proceedings were transferred from Patiala to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Sangrur.
The order reads as under:
“1. Prayer in this petition is for transfer of the proceedings filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, pending in the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Patiala to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Sangrur.
Learned counsel for respondents No.1 (contesting respondent) and 3 has received e-mail from Union of India and upon instructions, he submits that respondent No.1 and 3 have no objection if the present petitions are allowed.
In view of the above statement, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the present petitions, subject to the following conditions:-
a) The proceedings filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, pending before the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Patiala will be transferred to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Sangrur.
b) The ld. District Judge, Patiala is directed to transfer complete record pertaining to the aforesaid case to District Judge, Sangrur.
c) The parties, through their counsel, are directed to appear before the District & Sessions Judge, Sangrur on 02.06.2023.
d) The District Judge, Sangrur will assign the said petition to the Court of competent jurisdiction.
Disposed of.
Photocopy of this order be placed on the connected file(s).”
There is no representation on behalf of the respondents.
In view of the above, the present petition is also allowed in the same terms as in TA-1356 & 1358-2022.
